North Unit Irrigation District (NUID) Floating Solar Project. Competitive sealed proposals for the procurement of floating solar technology will be received by Josh Bailey, Manager, at North Unit Irrigation District, 2024 NW Beech Street, Madras, OR 97741, or via email at nuid@northunitid.com until, but not after, 2:00 p.m., local time June 10, 2024.  Proposals will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 p.m. June 10, 2024, at the District office. Permissive Cooperative Procurement. Pursuant to ORS 279B.060 and 279A.215, the North Unit Irrigation District, as the administering contracting agency, intends to enter into a permissive cooperative procurement, which will allow other public entities to “piggyback” onto a contract entered into pursuant to this Request for Proposals.  The estimated amount of the procurement will be between $2.55 Million and $6 Million Dollars.  Prospective vendors who wish to submit comments may do so no later than June 19, 2024.
