North Unit Irrigation District, in partnership with Oregon Environmental Council Rolls Out Electric UTV with funds from Oregon Clean Fuels Program – Made possible at no cost to NUID through the Pacific Power E-Mobility Grant.

This asset will certainly prove to be beneficial in the way of annual fuel-cost saving, emissions reductions, and improved access to particular sections along our easements that aren’t truck friendly. We’ll be rolling out extensive operational and maintenance standards with the Polaris to ensure our crew are safe and effective drivers, and to maximize the life of the vehicle for extended use in the years to come.
